Stuart Bray's Introduction To Prosthetic Makeup Weekend - 7th & 8th June 2020
IS THIS COURSE FOR ME? This is the INTRO course on Prosthetics make up you have all been waiting for. Every year we are asked to run entry level courses so those who are tempted to get into this side of make up get the chance to try it out. Stuart Bray is one of the best in the business and is one of the best teachers so in just 2 days you will be surprised by how much you will learn.
This 2-day workshop is designed to lift the lid on the key skills, techniques, and materials needed to make and apply small appliances effectively and safely. The plan is to learn these key points, immerse yourself in the creative environment and fill in those knowledge gaps which would otherwise hold you back.
Together, we will:
- Sculpt wounds in plastiline
- Use appropriate reference and discuss how to research.
- Mould the sculpture in silicone
- Mix the correct skin-tone in silicone
- Cast appliances with great edges.
- Apply pieces correctly.
- Blend and match skin tones and create casualty FX.
Document your progress, ask questions and enjoy supplied notes and tutorials to help support your time in the workshop to help you continue your journey into prosthetics. The idea is to supply you with a logical and repeatable process so you can do this stuff again.
You will be amazing about what you can learn about prosthetics in just 2 days.
