This month we ran our first 'Beauty Prosthetics' Weekend Training Course at Titanic Creative. It's the first time we have held something like this. You know we are usually covered in guts and gore by the end of our courses, so this was a welcome change.
The skills which Danny Marie Elias taught and demoed were so intricate and beautiful, you'd be excused for thinking that this would have been easier than any of our other courses. However, it was quite the opposite. The participants of this course said their creativity was challenged to a whole new level.
This was such a popular course which resulted to it being SOLD OUT weeks in advance. But not without two very lucky bursary winners of our Movie House Artist Fund. The lovely folk over at Movie House said that both Clare Kane and Ashley Allen's applications stood out for with the level of creativity shown.
Movie House Cinema's have supported the local artists of Northern Ireland through our Movie House Artist Fund for various of our courses throughout 2016 and 2017. Next up is our Mould Making Week with Stuart Bray starting on 18th September. The bursary winners for this have already been chosen, but there is still time to apply for the final bursaries of the season on our Anatomical Sculpting Weekend with Richard Martin in November. You can apply for these bursaries by clicking here (Deadline is 30th October 2017).
In the meantime, which not check out some of these fab creations by our students during the Beauty Prosthetics Course!
